He Went To Jared's!

Alright, alright I know everyone is dying to hear the story of how my wonderful fiancé proposed. It's a tear-jerker!---okay for me it is, not so much for you.

This was Tuesday September 21, 2010.

Well, I had a long day at work. I was tired. No, I was exhausted. I was planning on going home and eating dinner and curling up with my baby. Well, I got home and on my front door was this letter.

Well, giddy me got this huge grin on my face and started blushing. I think I squealed some too. The roses were everywhere.  It was fun to look for them.

(These are after I put them on the table in a vase. Precious. Aren't they beautiful?)

What made it really special though, was that attached to each different colored rose was a little note and on the note were reasons why he loves me. It was way sweet.

I just thought it was another date. Breck does sweet things like this all the time. I didn't think anything of it. Well, I went off and got ready. (Which may I mention I have never cared so much about looking good and what I wear until I met Breck. ha.) Well, after picking an outfit I wasn't that all happy with but I didn't have time to shower, my lovely man came and picked me up. Well, he said he had found a pretty place earlier that day that he wanted to show me. He wanted to surprise me though so he said he would have to blindfold me. Well, we ended up driving around town for a good 30 mins. He had to make sure I was good and lost first. And let me tell you not being able to see, is definitely no fun! Well, we arrived at the destination and Breck led me to a spot...up stairs. (He was like practically dragging me because I was being too careful with walking).

He had taken me to Rock Canyon where we had our first date. He took off the blindfold and had a 12th rose in his hand. There was a note on this one also and it said 'This is me giving you my heart.'

BAM he was down on a knee. I still was clueless and then I started freakin out. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" He had a beautiful diamond ring in his hand.

(It's very sparkly. Which I love, naturally!)

He asked me to marry him, which I responded with a yes. I was speechless, I didn't even know how I even responded. He put the ring on my finger, that I can't stop staring at. Then there was lots of mushyness. We were in our own little world, then he pointed out my roommate and another one of our friends. They had recorded it and also took pictures. It was perfect.

So now wonderful folks, I get to start officially planning my wedding with Mr. Breck Hildreth. We are thinking we are going to get married sometime in March...but that could change as time progresses. Welp, Happiness!!

elp

day 10: a letter to the person you hate most or caused you a lot of pain.

day 11: share your favorite recipe.

day 12: we want to see your teeth today / post a self-portrait.

day 13: whatever tickles your fancy.

Day 10: I don't hate. I love people. I don't know who to write to except one person. Don't laugh, it's kind of silly. We all have issues with him though...

Dear Satan,
You're awful. And mean. And shouldn't tempt people the way you do. But opposition in all things right? You're going to get what's coming to you. Did you know that? Just know that even though you entice me to do the wrong things sometimes, you won't win. You'll never win. Just give up. Because in the end it won't be worth it all. All that hard work won't pay off. You will never get that satisfaction in knowing you did the right thing. What an awful life to lead. You're going to be bound for 1000 years. Good luck with that. You should really just see the damage you've done and become righteous. But you're a hopeless cause. Bummer.
-Stephanie.
P.S. How's hell treating you? haha

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.” Everyone has felt pain. The only way to stop the pain is to move forward. Life is full of ups and downs and eventually we'll find complete happiness.

Day 11:  I absolutely love cooking and baking. I love cookbooks. I love trying new recipes. My favorite thing is making desserts. Here's a divine recipe, that I haven't tried. It looks good though. haha. Try it.

1
pouch Betty Crocker® chocolate chip cookie mix
1/3
cup butter, softened
2
tablespoons water
1/2
cup hot fudge topping
1
quart (4 cups) cookie dough ice cream, slightly softened

  1. Blend cookie mix, butter and water; reserve 1/2 cup dough. Press remaining dough into greased and floured 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350°F for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown on edge. Cool on cooling rack 10 minutes.
  2. Roll reserved dough into 16-1/2-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet; press slightly to flatten. Bake at 350°F 6 to 8 minutes or until set.
  3. Spoon about 1/4 cup fudge topping onto bottom crust. Spoon ice cream into crust. Freeze at least 2 hours. Place cookies on pie by pressing them in at an angle. Microwave remaining 1/4 cup fudge topping uncovered 30 seconds on High; drizzle over pie.

 Day 12: Teeth teeth teeth
By the way..I hate my teeth and my teethy smile. The end.

Day 13: Tickling my fancy?
Here's what is kind of going on...

I came home from work today to a very clean and spotless apartment. My roommate is officially amazing. That made me day. It's so nice coming home to a clean apartment.

My wonderful boyfriend left me a note on my car, that also made my day.

I am on Grey's Anatomy Season 6. Season 7 starts next week. Holla! I am addicted.

It's the weekend!! And much needed.

And now I'm all caught up.

Again Again

Because I am once again behind, you get double posts. YAY!

day 8: a photo of you taken recently.

This is my silly face while I was on skype and was showing off my hair.

And I just thought this was hilarious.

day 9: list some of your favorite blogs.

I love blogs. A little too much probably. If I find out you have a blog, you become my hero. A fellow blogger. I expect frequent, current updates from you. Anywho my list:

I'm love this. Professionally done screwed up cakes. The commentary is so funny. You'll love it.

I have many other blogs that I check frequently. However, they are my friend's and I won't be posting their websites on here.

Every once in a while I'll go on failblog. But some of that can be pretty crude.

Sometimes I look at photography blogs. I love looking at photographs. People are so creative and really know how to capture moments.

Eh, I can't think of the other ones. Maybe I'll come back to this later.
