So who knows what's going on with my body...but I keep having an allergic reaction and getting hives! Yikes! It started Saturday night at work and they just won't go away. When I take benadryl they go away and then they come back. I've taken so much benadryl I'm like in a daze. It's crazy! I went to the urgent care today and they gave me a shot. They asked me lots of stupid questions like "Did you get a new laundry detergent, or new clothes, or new anything?" They even asked me if I'm allergic to anything but that was obvious since I am covered in hives. Anyways they gave me a shot of steroids. It's suppose to make them go away completely. After I left there the hives did go away. Well I had to work today and got to work and felt super shaky. I felt like I drank like a ton of energy drinks. I was literally shaking and couldn't hold anything steady. I was wired. But then I started getting dizzy and the hives came back! So I went to Tom my boss and said I think I need to go home.My emotions are crazy I was like on the verge of crying which is ridiculous cause there is nothing to be upset about. Tom was really nice about it all and let me go but I felt really bad. I wasn't even at work for like 4 hours. I came home and tried to be productive because Aaron and Rachel are coming this week but it didn't last long. I got worn out and felt all sickish. It's been a crazy weekend! Hopefully I'll get all better soon!
Get this Christmas is this Thursday! I can't even believe it's so soon! I finished all my Christmas shopping and wrapping and I'm ready but at the same time I'm not! I feel like I've missed out on a lot this Christmas. I still haven't heard all my favorite Christmas songs, or watched my favorite Christmas movies or anything like that. Eek! I want all my family here too. I wish Chris and Kara could come home for Christmas. Plane tickets are so expensive! It will still be a very good Christmas though even if they can't be here. At least Aaron was able to get off for a while to come home. That will be really nice to have him here. I miss having him around all the time. I'm excited about Christmas! I can't wait to see everyone's reaction to their gifts! That's one of the best things about Christmas.
Also, Rachel Mae is coming this Saturday! I've missed her so much! We're going to have so much fun together next week! I'm glad Tom gave me off work all next week. I'm planning lots of fun tourist things we can do together. We're going to go to Atlanta and to the aquarium, coca cola factory, zoo, stone mountain...and who knows what else. Stone Mountain is doing their Snow Mountain this year. There will actually be snow there! I can play in the snow!! wahoo! Except that won't be anything exciting for Rachel...she's always seen snow. Rachel hasn't been to the South so I got to show her everything! We're also planning on going to the Blue Willow inn (this really fancy Southern house in Social Circle) to try some genuine Southern food. By the time she leaves here she'll be hooked on the South. :) We're going to have a blast! Oh the memories we'll make haha
This Moment Is You... I’ll taste every moment and live it out. More than a name or a face in the crowd. I know this is the time. I’m out on the edge of forever ready to run. This is the time of my life.

Moo
So at work we did Secret Santa and today I got the funniest gift. I love it but before I can tell you what it is I have to tell you the story behind it. Definitely a blond moment....
In Hobby Lobby there are these key-chains that have different animals (pigs, cows, dolphins, chickens, etc.) on them and you can press the button on it and it makes the noise of the animal. Well my CSM( Customer Service Manager) was telling me how she's going to buy the pig key-chain so every time she wants to eat something she can press the button and remind herself how big of a pig she is, and then not eat. Well she said "Maybe I should get the cow instead," and I said very seriously, "What sound does the cow make?" She just looked dead at me and gave me the strangest look and then said, "MOO." Well I was trying to explain to her that wasn't what I meant. I meant if you hit the button on the key-chain what would it sound like. No matter HOW many times I tried to re-word it, it just sounded worse and worse. haha The whole day I had people coming up to me and mooing at me. Apparently I have a hard time understanding a cow makes a moo sound.
So for Christmas my CSM had me as a secret Santa and got me a kid friendly toy...A See N' Say! Now I can learn the sounds of animals! haha It was an amazing present and I got a good kick out of it!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
FYI I hate the song it's the most wonderful time of the year, but the title is appropriate for this entry.
I love Christmas time! Like seriously it's the best time ever!! I get so hyped up about it. Except this year is different.
First off I've been listening to Christmas music since the middle of October..wayy to early for that. I've also been around Christmas trees, wrapping ornaments, and rearranging Christmas junk since I started working at Hobby Lobby..ugh. So saying I love Christmas may be kind of a mis-statement.
I love seeing everything decorated. I hate going up in the attic getting everything down and unpacking things..but the ending is beautiful. I love driving around and looking at all the houses lite up for the season. Another favorite thing of mine is the traditions. Another great thing about Christmas is the Spirit. There is a real meaning behind it all. There is lots of love, happy faces, and good memories made. I love how much happier everyone seems to be. Maybe it's because of the end of a semester, a break from work...I mean I don't think it's just because of the season but still I like to pretend it is. Everyone is much more giving and compassionate towards each other. I also love Christmas shopping. It's very exciting buying every one's gifts and seeing the excitement when you give it to them. It's also nice receiving them :)
I also tend to think a lot during this special season. I like to just sit and look at the Christmas tree, listen to Christmas music, and just ponder. I really realize all the wonderful gifts I have and all the people who have had an impact on my life. I like to reflect on the past year and everything that has happened, and I also like to think about the upcoming year and what it may hold for me. Of course I think about the Savior too..since that is the real meaning of Christmas. There is just lots to think about this time of the year.
Anyways this year feels different somehow. I feel like every year it's just different. I want all the family to be together and every year less people can't be home for Christmas or go out doing things. Christmas is about love and family. I just want to make every moment special and last. It's a hard task! I just feel like these are the moments to really take advantage of and not miss out on anything. Aha... Christmas is just wonderful!!
Anyways I'm done rambling. Merry Christmas everyone! Make the most of it! =)

Twilight
Edward Cullen: And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.
Isabella Swan: What a stupid lamb.
Edward Cullen: What a sick, masochistic lion.
I saw Twilight with my mommy at midnight. Hot Dang..it is so good!! Like the books are way good but the movie, I mean I'm speechless! I've never had a movie after reading a book be portrayed the exact way I pictured it. I mean it was like watching everything in my brain as I read it! The camera angels, the scenery, the actors...everything was so well done! And I love every second of it! I loved how the movie followed the book. I also loved how little comical things were thrown in there that if one read the book one would understand it. Aha it was just good! Bella's lullaby is simple and isn't overly done. I don't think it needs to be dramatic I like it exactly the way it is. It's beautiful! I think it fits the movie very well. It's very tender and sweet. The movie was so good I can't get over it. It captured my attention and I was captivated by every moment. And oh my heavens I want to find a man like Edward Cullen minus the vampire business. It's so cliche because everybody in a since wants him and is looking for the perfect "Edward" or "Edwardess" haha but goodness what's not to love about him?!
It all comes down to this Twilight is soo incredible! And everybody needs to see it. Embrace it, be apart of it, love it...

Welcome to your Athens Hobby Lobby...
Oh the joys of working at Hobby Lobby....
1. If I wear a blue vest that says Hobby Lobby on it...don't ask me if I work here.
2. Don't pretend like I know the price of every single item in the store.
3. Don't make me bag a giant wreath, home accent items, or a tiny gift card...you're crazy
4. If I tell you to wait and slide your card...the machine isn't broken stop sliding it and actually wait
5. The store closes at 8...so at 8 don't be at the register telling me you still have things you need to run and get
6. No I don't have coupons I'm giving you.
7.Doing a refund for an item under a dollar, is ridiculous....you kill a tree for that refund.
8. No there are no scanners...everything is manually typed in.
9. Everything in the store moves around at least every 3 days...good luck finding something at the same place you found it last time
10. Everything is overly priced and will go on sale
11. Hobby Lobby doesn't believe in making your life simple( You can read the reason why in the book at the front) ...so no numbered aisles, scanners, automatic anything really.
12. When you want a Christmas tree I get to say over the intercom I need christmas tree _____ as in ___ to register __. For instance I need Christmas tree DD as in Dilly Dally to register 6. (Also Kissable Kitty, Icy Igloo)
I love my job <3

Life goes by pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Life does move pretty fast and sometimes it's good just to stop and reflect about it all.
I am absolutely terrible at keeping in touch with people. I was reflecting in my bed last night before I fell asleep about how many people have come and gone in my life. Sometimes I am so absorbed in my own little world that I don't notice everyone else in my life. I've been so close to people and such good friends with them but in time it just slips away.
I was deleting emails and I found emails of some good friends that I met at EFY and we stayed close for about a year or so but then the emails just stopped. It's sad to just lose touch with people. I'm not the type of person to just randomly call them up, email them, or even look for them on fb just to catch up.
Sometimes I wonder if it's my fault we're not as close. I have so many times where I think "Man I should just call them and catch up", but I don't. I mean it goes both ways though in a relationship there is two people so surely it's not just me. I wonder what other people think about this topic and feel the same way I do.
My opinion is that if I need them or they need me then one day we'll re-meet. If it's meant to be then it will happen. One day in the future I can see them again for sure.
It's just crazy how sometimes a thought will cross your mind about an old friend and all those memories just flood in. Some memories good and some bad. It just makes me wonder if they think about me randomly like that.

Far From Here
Oh, it's hard to imagine the things that we survive. Will we understand it all one day when we arrive? Far from here, and we are happy. Far from here, we are all right. Far from here, things are peaceful. Far from here, we have insight. Far from here, we are laughing. Far from here, we are thankful. Far from here, we're forgiven and for that we are grateful. Far from here, we've detangled, our strangled hold and I hope to see you there.
