Finally my blog is working!! For the last week or so I haven't been able to access it, which is such a shame because I've had some good things to post. (And guess what? I naturally can't remember them now. haha oh...)
Why the problems with the blog? I got a virus dang it! There was this pop-up that kept showing up on like all my webpages. It looks legit but no worries I never clicked on it. It was a Microsoft pop-up saying something along the lines of "Microsoft needs your permission to install an online protection tool, because your computer is running in unsafe mode" hmm, hi I have Norton. It's like one of the best virus protection programs out there and I trust it enough to tell me if I need to install something. I ignored it, but it started taking me to random websites and things started failing...not cool! So I googled it. haha (Ever think about how wonderful google is and how google became a verb?) Anyways, the pop-up is a fake. So fyi if you get it....you're screwed. haha nah but it's a pain to try and get rid of. It also goes undetected by most virus protection programs...awesome. This chat discussion on google told me to delete malware or something (lovely computer talk, I don't understand). uh well, they also suggested I run a free scan from Microsoft that usually detects it. So I went to there site and hours later (like an entire night) the scan found a Trojan virus and got rid of it. I'm rescanning it just to double check. Hate viruses!
Conference is this weekend. You have no idea how excited I am. I'm actually going, my first time! I always hear the things I need, it's so incredible! Too bad I can't use my coloring packet this year, that would be odd to be doing during conference. Time to grow up I suppose....ha
Short work week, we're closed Friday and Saturday and I don't work Thursday. So Wednesday after 2, I'm free for a long weekend. This is where I would take the golden opportunity to go somewhere exciting, but I won't. haha
Easter is Sunday...beautiful. Our Easter program last Sunday was so good. Lots of musical numbers and good talks. Easter is so special.
I dyed Easter eggs tonight for FHE. I haven't done that since I was like 7. It was so fun! Except I'm pretty sure, mine were the ugliest. ha..typical

I think this picture is beautiful. Doesn't it just lift your heart? I love black and white photos.
* **And this is the part where I will go on about my dating/guys in my life rant. Because I feel like it needs to be addressed every few posts. Hey what can I say? It's my life, something I'm dealing with so sorry you have to hear so much about it. haha.***
My dad told me this weekend that I need to find myself a man and stop dating boys. haha. I thought that when guys come back from their missions they would have grown up some and become men... so not true. But that's okay, some people take longer to grow up I suppose. Question: What do I mean by grow up? Take responsibility, don't play these dumb games, find out for yourself who you are and what you want, care about others, progress, actually know what you're working towards, mature, and lots of other stuff. But this is where the issue lies. The "boys" in my life put on this fakeness of being men, but really it's all an act. Is that harsh of me to say? They are trying too hard to impress girls, which really just makes them less attractive. Be yourself. =) Once again this plays into the whole dating atmosphere out in Utah. An example, I go on a few dates with a guy and some people think that means automatically marriage and babies and a ring on my finger before the end of the year. Let's take this moment to once again tell people, I am not like that. People have this idea that I am some guy crazy girl just waiting to get married. PSH! please...marriage is great and all but I still have a while before I want to take that step. If someone proposed to me in the next few months, I would say heck no. Why? Because I know for a fact that I am not ready, I'm still also doing some "growing up." Besides, I believe in a thing called getting to know the person and actually dating awhile before you decide this is the one that I want forever. Forever is a long time, let me remind you.
No, I love guys, they're fabulous sometimes, but really what I'm looking for is just someone that I can date to randomly call up and go have fun with me. Things are more fun when you have someone to share it with. (Aww... precious) Because really I just want the companionship. (Little secret, I'm hate being alone. But I think we all are) I'm not looking for something serious right now. I'm not looking at every guy and saying 'oh he's the one for me, I could marry that guy,' because in all honesty I'm definitely not that girl. Things progress in time, and I will not start off a relationship saying 'this is it,' you don't know that early. Things change, take time to get to know them. I believe in dating for a while like 6months+ (definitely more for the + part). So take the time now to remember that.
Which brings me to the boys, oh silly boys. I listen to my guy friends complain about not having dates or girls, or blah blah blah. Let me make a suggestion. Ready?! Ask girls out,..that's it. If you like them, or even slightly interested...ask them out. Call them ,text them, fb them, email, go to their apartment, do whatever....make an effort to get to know them and see if there is potential there. There is this idea of being afraid of rejection. Okay clue; most girl's will always say yes to a date unless they are involved with someone else or really do have legitimate plans for that night. Don't let that first step scare you. Dates are fun, there shouldn't be this direr need to impress them. Once again, be yourself. And also another hint, most of the time you won't be able to tell anything from a first date. First impressions aren't everything and first dates usually don't turn out so well. haha. Girls like dates, and who cares what happens after, just take it one day at a time. I feel as though sometimes people are so focused on the future they forget to live in the present. You never know what could happen, or what memories you could make, or a friendship you could be creating, or a conversation you needed...until you give it a shot. Take a risk! Sure, things might not work out after the date, but you never know they just might. This is life full of disappointments and well happiness too. There is someone better out there if things don't work out. However, things will work out eventually. Do you understand my frustrations yet? Guys drive me crazy, and I'm pretty positive I drive myself crazy sometimes. But life keeps going...

This is what I've recently come to realize. I'm living my life right this moment, I don't get a second time around, this is it! So, even through the bad things this is still my life. It will keep continuing on and I have to go with it. Life doesn't stop and wait for me to 'get it together' because that will never happen. There will always be something else that will knock me down, but on the positive side there will always be something that will lift me up. Just take things one day at a time....makes things so much easier.
That's all for now kiddies! Enjoy the rest of your week and conference this weekend.
xoxo
